Hardstone is an early game resource found throughout all biomes in Aloft. It is vital to mine this resource in order to progress, and can be found in clusters of 1-3 chunks. These deposits are typically found on islands either with an unhealthy ecosystem, corruption, or with a cave. This makes harvesting these deposits more difficult than Stone or other more common resources.

Obtaining

Hardstone is mined using a pickaxe. Their appearance is a darkish rock deposit with a cubic and smooth appearance.

• Making Carved Wood
• Sharpening Tools via the Sharpening Station in the Upgrade Station
• Building the Sharpening Station
