The Home Kite is an important building in Aloft. This is one of the first recipies the player learns from interacting with Knowledge Stones.

When placed on an island with a healthy ecosystem (not corrupted, not needing Restoration), the island can be made into a Home Island or Shared Island. This allows for the summoning of the island in other worlds and teleporting back to the island from anywhere in Aloft.
