The leaf windmill is a structure that can be placed in the world using building mode. The leaf windmill is used to automate production workstations like a millstone or a loom.

Building

A leaf windmill requires 2 carved wood, 1 leaf cloth, 3 wooden cogs, and 5 waxed rope.

Mechanics

To automate a production workstation, you need to link it to a leaf windmill.

Production workstations can be individually linked to the windmill or be daisy-chained.

Stats

Leaf windmills generate energy that is then consumed by all connected production workstations. The number on the top right corner is the energy being generated by the windmill. The equation in the stat box is: Energy generation / Energy consumption = Energy grid efficiency

Wind direction contributes to the energy generation of a windmill.

A production workstation will only consume energy if raw materials are being processed. This millstone's energy consumption is zero when not processing raw materials.

Once it starts processing, the energy consumption switches to "15-". Regardless of type of raw material, the energy consumption is the same.

Multiple production workstations increases energy consumption which affects the efficiency of the energy grid and slows down the processing of all the production workstations in that grid. Linking a second millstone increased the total energy consumption to 30-, reducing the efficiency of the energy grid.
