Cooking
Meals can be cooked using a Cooking Plate which can be placed at a Campfire or Fireplace. Recipes can come in multiple levels including gourmet.
Place 3 ingredients in the Cooking Plate and then hold F to cook, making sure the flame meter doesn't go into the red zone. The higher the meter is the faster it cooks. Allowing the meter to stay in the red zone for too long will produce Burnt food.
Ingredients in Aloft are divided into different categories. Ingredients of the same type are interchangeable in recipes unless otherwise stated.
Ingredient Types:
- Fruits: Blueberry, Watermelon
- Veggie: Carrot , Corn , Potato , Pumpkin, Tomato, Reishi Mushroom, Peas
- Dry ingredient: Bone meal, Flax seed, Flour, Leaves, Wheat, Great Chestnut seed, Coffee
- Seasoning: Garlic, Sugar, Salt, Honey
- Liquid: Milk, Clean Water
- Egg

Specific Meals
Meals that required spefific ingridents to be cooked (lest it either becomes a failed or generic). Recipe is unlocked by a gourmet scroll, but it can also unlock a "gourmet" upgrade in the meal providing a bonus buff.
