Researching via the Research Lab is a key way to upgrade and advance your gear.

The Research Lab is the base for research and is used to unlock buildings such as the Upgrade Station and Brewing Stills.

There are 4 tiers of research you need to unlock before being able to craft the antidote:

Brewing

The Brewing Stills are used to craft the Mykter coatings

• Mykter Fungicide (Clay Flask, Milk, Potato or Carrot or Reishi Mushroom)
• Mykter Antidote (Mykter Fungicide, Reishi Mushroom)

Coating

The Coating Station can be placed on the Upgrade Station Frame and is used to apply coatings to weapons/tools

By killing enemies with each coating you can obtain different Mykter samples which are then used to research higher tiers of coatings.
